In this phase we are analyzing where the athlete currently stands in the market compared to others, for what the athlete stands and where we want to go. Precise planning and goal setting are the key in this phase for long-term success.

Once the overall positioning is set, (social) content ideas will be developed based on the overall strategy. Content ideas will consider sponsors of the athlete and the seasonal competition calendar with potential highlights such as European & World Championships and Olympic Games. The athlete has the opportunity to give feedback in the creative ideation rounds.

Content ideas will be produced on a certain day that fits into the athlete’s training and competition schedule. Location, shoot date and scale of the production will be aligned upfront. During editing final rounds will be shared for approval.

Having good content does not necessarily mean it will succeed. There are several parameters to consider when to go live, with which content piece and on which channel(s).
